Defense department is responsible to defend the nation from all types of enemies attacks/encroachments. The department will have various branches of forces like army, naval forces, air forces, marine forces, coast guard forces etc.

Defense forces must be well trained, ensuring good physical fitness. People who do not have physical fitness cannot continue in the department, however senior he/she may be. The department must have a research organization to develop fighting equipment and arms. The department should manage all the affairs within the available fund allocated for the department.
